Kim M. Fabich, co-founder and president of Work & Family Consulting, Inc. has been serving the needs of child care centers since 1978:
* Served on the Wisconsin Registry Adult Learner Class for Approved Trainers development committee - 2008-present
* Served on the Wisconsin Registry Professional Development Approval System (PDAS) planning committee 2007-present]
* Served on curriculum committee for Wisconsin DCF to redesign entry level certification courses - 2002
* Work & Family Consulting, 1995 to present
* Child Care Center Director, 1983 - 1994
* Early Childhood Teacher, 1980 - 1983
* State Approved Instructor for certification courses, 1992 to present
* Adult Extension Instructor in early childhood education, 1988 - 1991

Synopsis:

Strong leadership in early childhood programs enhances quality and productivity. Effective leaders help staff to become motivated about their jobs, to improve their attitudes toward work, increase staff productivity, foster team work, develop confidence in staff, and improve the overall commitment to the program. This class will examine the different styles of leadership and the core competencies of early childhood center directors.

All meetings are open to any child care administrator or director who wishes to attend. The cost of the meetings is $5 for WCCAA members and unless otherwise noted, $10 for non-members.

Meetings are normally on the second Wednesday of the month and alternate between Green Bay and Appleton.
