WCCAA Region 4 is Committed to You!

My goal for WCCAA Region 4 is to raise the level of commitment to and communication with our members. Since January we have developed a web site which is located at http://region4.wccaa.com. Please check the site often as new features are being added weekly and even daily is some cases. This past week a section was added for “Great Links.” There you will find links to Supporting Organizations, Continuing Education Opportunities, Nutrition, and Relevant Articles and Information. We plan to add many more. Also since January we have started this newsletter which we have committed to publish online by the first Monday of each month.

We have planned our monthly meetings to be as interesting and informative as possible to meet the needs of our members. We have already started on the list of potential topics to be address in 2007. We are planning and scheduling a Regional Conference to take place on December 13 & 14 of this year! Stay tuned for the exact times and place. We plan to have those two days filled with speakers, workshops, activities, and a whole range of products and services from vendors that are specifically geared to support and enhance the child care profession. We plan on keeping the cost to our members as low as possible for this two day event through generous donations from sponsors.

What a bargain for our members for only $20 per year per center location. Don’t forget to join WCCAA at the State Level also. You can register online at www.wccaa.com The State web site is currently in development and we hope to have it fully functional by May 1, 2006.
